Honey Girl

When good friend and acclaimed director Alma Har’el started getting award nominations for her break through film Honey Boy she knew she would need some new photos. I decided that we needed an image that conveyed an artistic feel, a glowing sense of light, and that captured the feeling of motion. I selected an 85mm Petzval lens that gives a sense of swirling around the edges and in the out of focus areas. The images ended up being used in Marie Claire and several other publications.
