Joseph Rubinstein is the filmmaker and serial entrepenuer behind the Digital Bolex project & Polite in Public (the world’s first premium photobooth), now moving into long form documentary and narrative projects.
I founded Digital Bolex with the intention of creating a digital camera that recreated a 16mm film camera’s image qualities, ergonomics, and price point.
The Digital Bolex design was so successful it has become the only digital camera ever to increase in value after production was discontinued.
I also co-founded Polite in Public, the world’s leading experiential photo marketing company. Polite in Public has handled media campaigns for brands like Coca-Cola, Netflix, Toyota, Microsoft, Budweiser, Red Bull, EA, adidas, HBO, Activision, and many others.
I am now turning my experience working with brands and technology to creating a long form media company that specializes in personal and intimate stories.
As we move into the age of AI, we now more than ever, need human stories that inspire and move us.
