Tatiana Dekhtyar is a prominent cosplayer that has appeared on the covers of a variety of magazines. So when she contacted me to create a submission to the Red Sonja cover competition I was excited. This was my first venture into the cosplay / fantasy photography world, but I felt we could make something that stood out with fashion oriented lighting and retouching. The image we submitted ended up being one of four images chosen for comic book covers and collector cards.
